Thought I'd bring this back up...

My plates came in yesterday and I'm going to the dealer to pick them up tomorrow and I'm torn on what to do. What are other Texans doing? Has anyone been pulled over yet?

i have my plates but i did not put my front plate on. i just put it in the glove box.

Glove box as well...I'll take the ticket before I install it! ...and even then it will go in the front window first before I drill holes in my bumper!

I am not sure what to do about this. I have a lot of friends that are police officers and asked them about this. They ALL told me it gives them probable cause to pull someone over. I DO NOT want to put a license plate on the front of my car when I get it, but I don't want to be pulled over because it is not there. I have been pulled over by DPS in the Valley for this and I had a license plate on the front of my car. He told me it was a mistake???

I don't know what to do. I do not want to be hassled over this.

Any suggestions????

No front plate threw mine away,if I get stoped I'LL take the ticket before i ruin the car with a front plate.

I'm regretting everyday I had that front license plate put on! Hopefully that law passes... and there's some sort of way to fix the damage done. I don't mind the look... just the holes... the holes!!! :(
