Mine blew @ around 11.5 -12 psi. I'd stay under 10 but that's just me.

10 is about it with meth as a safety precaution, but I've pushed mine to 15 lbs.

Thank you for your help! I'll try to keep in 10 PSI with methanol. I do not want to damage the engine.

Depends. Turbo cars can typically get away with a bit more. It isn't PSI, just power you should be concerned about. l99 is good for ~700-750rwhp depending on blower or turbo. Boost doesn't matter. Could be 22psi or 5psi.

No, it doesn't. It is just a measurement of restriction. Headers, cam, heads, type of power adder all change that. You could ask what is a general range of boost for a bone stock car with no other mods and a procharger to run, but in the end power and specifically cylinder pressure is what limits a motor. You can get to 800 crank HP with 5psi with really good heads/cam/headers or 20psi with a restrictive setup. Most guys will say ~12-13psi is the limit because that is typically what gets you to ~750rwhp on a ls3 car, but the boost doesn't matter, it is the power level/cylinder pressure. You can put some heads and cam on a 750rwhp car, make 3psi less, and the motor is still making 750rwhp, seeing the same cylinder pressure and same stress on the pistons/rods/rings/head gaskets. You maybe in a more efficent part of a compressor map so may get cooler intake temps, which maybe safer, but you may not.
If you are asking on a bone stock motor, with a p1sc how much boost you can run, the answer will be until you run out of fuel/octane, and with that blower and nothing added like meth you will run out before the motor is the limit. If you upgrade the fuel system sufficiently then you should be able to just about max out that blower before the motor runs out in the 700rwhp range assuming you have enough fuel/octane to push the blower to max RPM/impeller speed.

Unreal is correct... BOOST mean shit..
example. a 6.2 making 700 on twins with 8 psi and a 6.2 making 700 on a single will have different boost levels.. both making same power. is tthe cylinder pressure you have to watch out for. ^^ those two cars i list above should ahve close to the same cylinder pressure. |

Also there are quite a few cars running well over 900whp to the tires with no problems
