Make sure also you don't have anything in the side pockets of the doors. Because I was getting a lot of noise from items hitting against the sides when the bass hits.

And I have had mine up to 38 and it sounds great. My settings are 12 terrble 6 mids and -2 bass and its the perfect sound at 38 vol. Also I turned off my auto adjust completely.

Probably just your awesome camaro not wanting to listen to that stuff. Don't upset your car. PLAY SOME GOOD OLD ROCK MUSIC INSTEAD.

Something to look into also is the source of the music, poor quality MP3s will cause all sorts of noises and ratles. Anyhow i would take a look at how they are mounted and maybe tighten or insulate a little better.

Sunroof?

Richochet, do you have a sunroof? I have one and there was a rattle in the rear. Thought it was the right rear speaker. By chance, I slid the sunroof cover back and the rattle stopped. The void space in the roof seems to allow the rattle when the cover is closed, but not all of the time. I think a simple piece of foam will cure mine.

It's not your speakers, it's your music. Try listening to Celine Dion @ that level and see if the rattle recurs..

pay some dynamat behind the speakers to insulate it. With all the power I have going through my door speakers there is no rattling. The change in the door was driving me crazy when I first picked up the car.
