I guess this is both suspension and tires. Please leave it here for more exposure mods.

How much space is recommend between the tires and coil overs? Or struts for those running stock suspension.

I have seen some guys running their tires very close to their struts/coilovers with an aggressive alignment.

I don't know what's recommend, but I run about 1/16". Tires are super close to the strut but never rub.

I run about 3/16" away from my struts. Unless you have slop in your wheel bearings, you don't have too much to worry about.

Glad to hear. I went with the 9" wide wheels on the front with 275/40/20 tires on stock SS suspension and the SMALL amount of clearance had me concerned about tire rub during hard cornering. It's definitely less clearance than the thickness of my finger (both the top side and inside of the front tires). Thx for the info guys!

i rub my front strut and have more clearence than that.
