This is/was an odd choice. The 555R's are really "old" tech. The NT05R's would've been a much better choice.

I’m amazed they got the 555r to hook hard enough to run 10:80s. While the 555r’ are a good street DR they are not a very good performer at the strip. In my experience with these tires there was a 1-2 tenth gain going from these to a real Drag Radial like the Nitto NT05R, or the M/T E/T. If this is the case you should see better times, installing a real set of DRs.

I lost about 2to3 tenths on my old mustang when I switched from NT555Rs to MT E/T streets(those things were like glue)

the NT555R was the worst drag tire I ever used.

I'd like to see what an R/T 392 with an auto could do at the track with some minor bolt-ons. CAI, a tune, a cat-back and some slicks and skinnies. I bet it would be 11's all day, for $35k-$38k.

All so like how they said we will make the power to weight better than make the car smaller

Yeah and it sounds like they're pretty content with being the bigger car in the class. I dont see the next model getting any smaller. I think they definitely plan on using the "the size makes it more pratical" selling point for some time.

I like the size I can use the Challenger and have no issues with the size at all, full size trunk and back seat for 3 (2 adults and 1 child) with no issue putting an adult behind my seat. The only complaint that I have is that the Drivers seat does not move forward other than using the power, seatback does not tilt forward to allow access with my 2010. In later years they have a tilt on the drivers seatback.

Super Chiller

Looks good but the video sounded tame. Anyone else notice the IC water temp was 145deg and the IAT was 172deg! After all the on and on about how well the IC works I was expecting much lower! I know the car was stopped but I hope it works much better moving.
172deg @ idle that’s terrible, what does it go to making boost?

I have never seen triple digit IAT on the street in my GTO @ 10psi with a 10yr old M112 and stock air filter.
