Whats up people. just picked up my New 15 1LE. lookiing to get together and cruise. I under there is a camaro club out there already. anything other than that?? really dont want to join a club just to cruise around and meet people.. wake up charlotte area.. u seems like ur all dead!!

Congrats on your new 1LE

...... it's summer time and it gets sorta quiet here unless something is going on. Also some people are preparing for traveling Camaro5fest #6 coming up next week and weekend.

No need to join a club if you don't want to, soooooo if you want to know what's happening and go to cruise-ins and/or shows here the place you need to save to your favorites and check out the calendar to see what's happening each day all over the state. You said you don't want to join a club but you should at least check out 5th Gen Camaros of the Carolinas. They do something almost every weekend and are based out of the Charlotte area. We're all going to Camarofest next week but after that they meet up and cruise somewhere around there.

We just had a meet up today. Our plan currently is to continue meeting the first Saturday of the month at C&C, and then another meet on a Sunday, maybe the 3rd Sunday of the month. You're more than welcome to come out. We are a club, I guess, but there are no dues, we simply keep a spreadsheet to send out emails and texts of upcoming events, and if you come, you come.

If anyone else is interested in meeting up in and around Charlotte, please send me a PM and include your cell number and/or email address and name. We use an app called GroupMe that allows us to announce events, where you can choose "going" or "not going" and participate in the conversation. And it doesn't use any texts if you're on a limited plan.

Our main meetup is at Cars & Coffee on the 1st Saturday of the month, but we do things here and there otherwise. A bunch of guys met up Friday night just this weekend to cruise and went to Mellow Mushroom to watch the Panthers game.
