Brake Fluid Low Light!!

I have a 2012 Camaro 2 LT and I noticed this morning the Brake Fluid low Light!! was on and the brake light was on also. I added some fluid and the light did not go out. The front brakes look very good and the back pads are getting low 3/8". I noticed a little brake fluid has dripped from the master cyl. I have the car serviced at a Gm dealer and I am a little pissed that they did not check this.

was the fluid actually low when you checked it?
it is normal for brake fluid to get lower when brakes are getting close to needing replacement.

Yes it was down a bit, I had my car parked out back at my place on the lawn and it is fairly steep, I noticed it was a little damp around the M/C
Now I have the M/C full and new pads on the rear, Is there any way to cancel the lights, with the brake light showing It will not let me use the cruise control.

Manual or auto transmission?
If its a manual, the clutch shares fluid with the brakes.
just another place to look.
But if you have an automatic ignore the above..
