Body work "doors" - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

New to forum. Looking to see if anyone has info on a problem I have run into. After stripping the doors down to metal I noticed a dip in both doors. It is in the center of the lower portion of the doors about 3 inches up from the bottom of the door and is about 6" x 8". This area also seen to have alot more flex than rest of the door. I also notice there is no frame work in this area on the inside of the door. Is this a factory issue or a correctable problem?
