Like i said, my hat is off to DWALEX for being the first, we did sell him the head unit, the Stig is helping use out with programing, as well as oping the one unit in the pics, and last we have GTprix from the DIC upgrade so it was done and is working.

will post when its here.

Ofer, you have done a ton of work on this.. I will wait. was just curious of how it was done,
And yes when you have done the work for this then of course those of us wanting it should pay a fair price for the system.

Not really as I'm not asking for the information to be shared with me. I'll just be the consumer for when it's ready to be sold.

as a matter of fact I do know exactly what is involved in making this work,
I have done many projects just like this.
I considered doing this myself but Ofer started doing the work and I had no desire to duplicate it when I have other projects I am working on.

please don't assume I don't know.

No, where to buy the connectors, parts and how to reprogram the unit.

I think we, consumers, could care less where you bought the connectors or how you built it. I dont need you or Ofer to share it with all of us. But, do think, you two or three should share the info with each other.

Either way, Ofer will have it figured out soon and he already has the following. We know he "offers" a good product and even better customer service.

As you know the part # for the connecter is on all the GM shop Manuel, all i do is get them from a company called power and signal, i use to buy from mouser put there to much $ for parts, so i dont use them much any more, for the head units i buy from a company that gets all of GM over stock parts, How do you think i got all the 1LE diffs?.

For the programing we have a GM MDI Scan tool, but we did not have luck this weekend will try to get one to work next weekend,

Ofer,

Are you finished with the wiring? You are just trying to get the head unit programmed to the car? Sorry I'm just curious as to how close you are on having this DIY kit finished! Great job so far by the way!!

I have been talking to them via email and looks very professional. I will pull the trigger here next week. He sells everything plug and play, you just send him your VIN number so he can send you the unit programmed.

They've been linked a few times in this thread. Tempting but I'll wait for Ofer's package.

See what his will be priced at. Plus we have these forums to help us run through the installation and trouble shooting.
