Steering Wheel Bowtie Blackout
Has anyone attempted to plasti-dip or sharpie the bowtie on the steering wheel?
Seems a bit ridiculous to have a gold emblem on the car at this point... I don't want to spary plasti-dip in the car... seems like an AWFUL idea. Is this part difficult to remove? I would assume so since it is the airbag...

Sounds like it is best to do what that guy did and have Roger @ emblem pros make a custom Bowtie.
One other thing you could try is mask the chrome off in painters tape and paint the gold part Black by detail paint brush. |

I put maybe about 3 or 4 little pass overs with a Sharpie and it came out great for me
Always wave a sharpie and tell me friends at school "custom painted" haha |

No overspray, everything was well covered, spray for 5 seconds, 3 coats, paint smell goes await real quick. I used painters blue tape around they bowtie. Sheet or towels on the seats and dash
