Another door panel ? size screws to hold door panels inserts
OK I have the door panels purchased to replace my cloth ones. I need to know the exact size of the screws used to replace the tabs that you grind off to put the new panels on without damaging the new panels. Could anyone who bought the new panels from GM and have the GM supplied screws could you please give me an exact size so I can get some ordered. A picture of the screw would be awesome to be sure I getting what GM recommends. Txrhino Kevin '10 LT1 CGM "Sweet Emotions" Pics Coming soon,,,, ...looks like everyones elses for NOW... The above thread is shows the screws (thanks rolnslo). I took my panels to a mechanic friend of mine and he had an pneumatic grinder and ground the tabs of in just a few minutes. A grinding wheel on a dremel type tool would work fine also. Txrhino hope that helps! |

8mm or less.
I got 8mm with a sharp point and put a hole thru the door arg!! But i learned if you put washers between, you'll be ok ! Hope that helped.. Just go to any hardware store and ask for the size There's actually 3 screws in the cloth panels you can reference! (I have cloth available to sell) -Just installed the inserts myself |
