Interior Dash Scratch!
Anyone here know what to use to get out a plastic dash scratch? Not that deep but shows.....

I also have a small scratch on the airbag housing,. kills me to see it. any advice woulod be appreciated

I was told to try petroleum jelly on interior scratches.
I did try it on one on my Camry and it didn't work. However others reported success on different types on plastic by using it. The worst that happens is you have something shiny that you need to wipe off. |

I had some luck on a Honda Accord plastic door trim by applying Meguiar's PlastX plastic polish with a cloth wheel on a Dremel tool at low speed. Could barely see it anymore.
Don't suggest using anything but the cloth wheel though, even the plastic brush wheel can eat plastic off. I did that once on purpose to blend some puppy chew marks in the plastic front bumper facia and it worked pretty good. |
