Paint peeling at corners of bumpers

Has anybody else had any issues with paint peeling at the corners of there bumpers, when i first got my car, it had a small spot of paint missing on the pass side of the car, behind the tire, at the corner of the bumper at the point. They repainted the bumper. So, yesterday im looking around the car, and see that paint is peeling on the front and back bumpers on the drivers side, in the corners of the bumpers. Kinda crappy..its not BAD, but as you know, should be like that to begin with.

Is this where there is a seam where the bumper cover meets the metal body of the car, like the pic below? I saw quite a few posts about this on here, I think GM fixed most under warranty. Supposedly the bumpers were mounted too tight and it was rubbing the paint off. Something like that.

yep, i have a small spot about an inch long on the where my passenger side rear quarter panel and bumper come together. I may have to have them look at this when I take the car back in for the halo light discoloring issue.

I had that issue and got a brand new bumper cover out of the deal. They broke half the mounting tabs on the original one when they pulled it off.

I usually get those from drying with a towel, or using the towel there.

Rear spoiler/trunk paint peeling

Wow, I just read this post today, dropped off my Camaro to get the suspension and wheels put on and noticed paint peeling on both sides of my spoiler. Looking at all the posted pics it seems that the factory paint on these must've been done by Maaco. Here are some not so good pics taken with my cell phone camera. I just purchased my Camaro on the 22nd of May. I talked to the dealership and was told it should be covered under warranty repair. I told them not should but will be repaired under warranty repair and I will not accept touch-up paint either. They'll have to repaint the entire trunk and spoiler.

Wow, that sucks, i got my Camaro at the end of Feb. It already had a chip of paint missing on the back bumper, same as my pic above, but on the Pass. Side of the car. They said they repainted the whole rear bumper cover. So,, now its peeling on the front and back corners on the Drivers side.

The factory paint job looks very thin. The paint was peeling off and looked like pencil shavings when you sharpen a pencil. I'm hoping GM did not cut corners on the paint to save money.

You're covered under warranty for that.
