Price tracker - feedback, please.

Please take a look at this form:
https://forms.gle/gQmL71jq5G8pxFBA7

Are any questions confusing, ambiguous or open to interpretation? Please put in some answers for test purposes, leave comments in the last question.

After I receive comments and feedback here and make changes and corrections:
  • I can make a new improved version and remove the *TEST* label.
  • I can share a live sheet with everyone's answers to give an informal crowd-sourced idea of the market. It will be constantly updated
Benefits:
  • Record of recent sale prices for enthusiasts and those looking to buy a new Camaro
  • Current trends of order wait time against trim and options
Yes, of course past performance is no guarantee of future results.

You have multiple post pertaining to almost basically the same question. What are you trying to gain by this? You are going to pay MSRP for a Camaro currently, unless you qualify for a discount program. You are not going to guess future resale since the Camaro and v8 cars in general are coming to an end, used will likely go up. The biggest problem is anyone can just give you random data on your sheet.

Not really. It's easy to set up and reporting is automatic.

That's possible, but this forum survives and is useful based on people being decent and wanting to help the community.

There's no problem, but from his past post he is trying to see the pre pandemic prices were, to see if somehow I guess if he can get those discounts in the current market, another one is to see what the Camaro will be worth in 10 months.

The facts are MRSP is pretty much the standard, unless you qualify for a GM discount. There is no value since he is looking to order a new one, past prices are not comparable anymore. If we still lived in the day of where you could negotiate price still....sure this would be very valuable but just irrelevant in the times we are.

No one knows what the Camaro will be worth 10 months from now or 36 months from now....my guess is it will be a value retainer.

For real. Move on with your day if you think he "has too much time on his hands" or whatever.

I agree. When components shortage and logistic issues started in 2020, people predicted the market to settle in 2022 and here we are. I am not sure if discounts will be a thing on highly desirable vehicles like ZL1 until this platform dies in the coming years. And predicting future values is like trying to aim a target in the dark.
