nice sunshine in this part of Ontario from Monday to Friday but rain all weekend every weekend since it stopped snowing. good thing is that the sand and salt is almost washed of the roads and some of the frost heaves have gone down a bit.

Getting back to the weather, this really sucks.
I'm sick and tired of all this rain, sure my grass looks great, but the drop in barometric pressure doesn't do wonders for my sinuses. :(

Sure we're expected to have a dry week, in Ont., but with the high temperatures, comes the "humidity" .
I just want nice warm, dry weather, is that too much to ask for?

We had rain all week here in Calgary, but today is alright...so far. I drive in the rain because it doesn't bother me. Snow on the other hand...

I feel like an abusive parent now. I've had mine just under 16 months and already put over 40,000km on it....Granted a good 9000 of that was my driving trip across Quebec and all the maritimes last year (great sights).

Moved to Ottawa from Dallas Aug. 2003. Over the years I have learned I have about a 4 month window of time when I can keep one of my cars clean for a week (June-Sept.). However, this year, perhaps 4 months or less.
I park both my white cars in an underground parking garage. Each year they power wash the garage (holds about 225 cars). Garage power wash is delayed this year until end of June. During winter so much salted road junk ends up in garage, when it dries, result is dust clouds of winter residue. Now, May 31, I can wash a car, one day later covered in black sticky winter road dust.
I now consider spring to be only my winter hangover due to long lasting winter dust that keeps my cars dirty in the parking garage. Note: only drive my Riviera once every few weeks during warm weather and it stays parked for two weeks at a time in the summer (never been driven in winter). After two weeks winter hangover garage dust requires trip to car wash. My white Camaro, I only drive perhaps 2-4 times per week during the summer. I can avoid most days of driving in rain during the summer. Currently, winter hangover garage dust requires a visit to the car wash weekly.
At least winter hangover garage dust is not very obvious on white cars, except for auto glass. Winter hangover garage dust on auto glass makes visability a driving hazard, therefore frequent and expensive trips to the car wash. Darn, I am spending $130 a month to wash two cars!
