Oooo I've been waiting for this post for months now... I'll have to check my schedule, hopefully I'm not working. If not, I'm in.

I've got an alignment appointment tomorrow, and am going a little mor aggressive for the track. I should be able to get into and out of corner 5 faster this year. Hope for a sunny day.

I've got a small group coming down from Orillia.
Registration starts at 8am, drivers meeting at 8:45.
At the big track.
Price is $399 tax incl.
I just had my car realigned with a little more aggressive track alignment so I should be able to get into and out of corner 5 a little faster.

So sad.

I work nights the day before (so ending the morning of). My shift end time would make it unattendable this year. :(

Damn it! I had so much fun last year.

To anyone who hasn't been and is thinking of it, do it! It's awesome. It's even more fun when people crash and you get to watch. (Was that guy who got kicked out last year from here? Or just someone who showed up, Stratman? He was the one who crashed that red BMW.)

He was not part of our group. He didn't get kicked out for crashing (just a scratch), he got kicked out for getting out of his car before help got there and not obeying the rules.

This sounds like fun, I did a Porche racing school at Shannonville a few years back. So putting the supercharger to good use would be a blast. I can say maybe, do you need confirmation of a certain number of people?

Hey Allan, the sooner you can confirm the better. They only take 45-46 cars.
And we are split up into groups. Shannonville would be fun.
I'm also planning on going to Calabogie this year as well.
Hitting 250km/hr with the top down would be fun!!!

Had the V out for a lapping day on Mosport's GP circuit on Friday... what an amazing vehicle and it was a total blast!

If you can see your way clear to participate, try and find a way to do it. Just remember that if you're a novice on this course, you will need an instructor to ride along with you. This is not a course to go out alone on, if you've never run it before - even if you have previous lapping experience!

I took a few in-car vids during the day.

Here's one:

The other vids are in this album:

Best regards,

My last time there (only time there) I remember it being.....wetter. Hopefully it's bit dryer this time around so I can take those coners faster. Still hitting 190 in heavy rain with a corner comming up on you fast is quite the experience.

There is no better way to learn how to safely drive your freshly modded car than to do it on a track. There are alot of new big HP cars out there, come see what your car can do.
