I would hope anyone that has drove a manual for more than a year does not stall grind or miss a gear

I learned how to drive on a 3 on the tree 1970 something Ford station wagon. After driving that beast, the clutch and short throw shift on my 2SS is just as easy as an auto ..i find myself driving closer to the speed limit in my Camaro with manual than I do with my auto Avalanche . When you drive a stick you pay more attention because you know what gear you are in and with an auto there is no thought process and you just hit the gas and before you know it you are 20mph over speed limit

I'll bet that stalling/grinding/missing happens more often than "never-ever", which means it happens more often than most people are willing to admit.
