That may be true - I've had the pleasure of smelling the burnt rubber coming out of the back of that thing LOL

Heh, heh... thanks y'all! I'm definitely counting on attending the event this year! Just hope they let me in if I'm not driving a Camaro!

Best regards,

Elie

Elie we had all sorts of non-Camaros there last year. And F-bodies outside of the 5th gens. The event is open to anyone who is passionate about their GM vehicle. This event is not car/generation/club/site specific. Of course there's a big focus on the 5th gen Camaros, but all are welcome. Got a hopped up Impala? Bring it! Love your Malibu or Silverado? Bring it! We'd love to see some old Business Coupes there and some McLaughlin-Buicks

It's only 1,052 miles for me. I think I get five weeks of vacation this year!

In May, I'll be going Kansas City --> Orlando --> Kansas City. In June, I may be going Kansas City --> Oshawa --> Kansas City. So much for keeping the mileage down! At this rate, I'll have the powertrain warranty spent prior to five years...

This could be worth a plane ride for sure. No time in the summer for that kind of road trip.

Plant Tour

Been to the Oshawa Plant (good folks up there) many times when they built Caprices up through the GMT800 and Impala... course I worked for GM at that time. Only 4.5 hours drive for me but the SS doesn't venture that far from home; not enough of a protected environment plus the 401 highway can be a bugger with the truck traffic. Might have to put the G8 on the road and bring pictures
