I'll have to see if I can capture some video at Atlanta Motor Speedway on the 18th and 19th of Feb. We'll be using the road course configuration.
Should be interesting.

Really?? Hmm, good tip. Which ones, the regular white ones? I've been using WD40 with a little elbow grease.

Then again, the trick is not to hit any ^_^

The regular white ones... I bet the WD40 wouldn't hurt either... I just used water to get the sponge damp. Got the stuff right off like it ERASED it.

I've gotten some cones like that! Though it was because I braked too late not a spin. I did that too though! I gave it a little too much gas in a corner and the tires let go, held it from completely spinning but definitely left the track haha. It's fun though, you learn what the limits of the car are!

Exactly... how can you know what you're capable of if you've never tested your limits?

I took 3rd this past weekend in the Novice class out of 29 drivers. Woot. Some guy in a MALIBU abused the H stock class haha not fair going up against the Honda CRZs and the like...
I'll get a top spot sooner or later.

Does anybody know how a stall converter will effect performance on autocross?

I need to get back into this, I did it one time and I've been wanting to do it again but I just haven't had the time to get back into it. Plus I was hoping to get some new tires before I tried again, these all-season pirelli's suck for track driving. I slid all over when I turned ESC off.

Congrats on the 3rd place! That is GREAT to be able to perform like that in Novice class up against all those light, little, powerful cars!!!! That was a big field. Good job.....

Thanks Ralph!

Also sweet video Rick, that looks like an awesome place for an autocross... I wish we had a nice venue like that in San Antonio.
