Painting engine bay cover and all other plastic
So is there any special way to do this or is it mask and rattle can? I really don't want to screw it up.

Sand the surface. I also used some promotor to help the paint stick better. Some of the surfaces are slick, which is why sanding helps. I also used a clear coat. I painted my bezels, engine cover and fuse box cover. I'll be doing some more work to my engine cover in the next few weeks.

I didn't use promoter and it worked out, but probably could have saved myself some time and hassle by using it. |

Clean with Dawn and water. Let dry. Tape what you want to tape. Wipe down with rubbing alcohol. Let dry. Shoot w/ adhesion promoter and spray w/ Krylon Fusion for plastic. Enjoy.
