Its not terrible but its a joke of a sendoff. With all the 1LE stuff they added, they really should have added the canards up front too. I dont care much for the gloss accents either. I guess thats all they could do though. For the $15K premium, I'd have rather seen carbon ceramic brakes instead of a watch. At least then the $15K could be justified.

My opinion- they should have thrown a set of forged 10-spokes on it or something. Really missed an opportunity to throw some ZLE-sized aftermarket wheels on it. Would have set it apart from everything else out there. Could have called up Forgeline or Apex (or anyone for that matter) and said, hey, what's your price on 350 sets of wheels- also you'll get marketing on the collector's edition.

. 90+K for that!!??? The Matte does nothing for it and is going to be a PAIN IN THE --- to keep clean..not to mention you get a scratch or scuff on the matte, GOOD luck trying to remove it without screwing up that paint job.

. Much happier after seeing this mess that I got my '23 with a much better paint job...AND the same powertrain for 67K.....

A Z28 would have been the best send off IMO, but it wasn't in the cards.

Ceramic brakes probably didn't make sense to GM without making it a Z28 or ZLE.
Overkill.

Is it boring?
It's less "boring" than a ZL1 without the ZLE wing and front lip.

Is it a let down for what it could have been?
Sure, but GM is all about the C8 now.

I would have preferred different rims instead of the Matte paint, and a lower price tag.

When I ordered my '22 ZL1 I wanted the red calipers, 19" wheels, and the wing but GM said NO, I have to order the entire 1LE package. It seems to me this "collector's edition is nothing more than left over parts laying around from GM not wanting to build any more true 1LE's.

I'm glad I decided not to sell my '22 for this final edition because to me it's a flop. GM had so much potential with this and blew it! It's been obvious for several years that GM never really cared about the Camaro.... and now it's gone.

I agree. One of the most unimpressive ZL1s I've ever seen. Hope the watch is nice for all those that have ordered one.
