Tints!

Im looking to tint my windows. Does anyone know the legal % in florida and New York?

I have 15% on all but windshield here in Florida and have never been bothered by the police.

I saw a State by State chart here once.
I'm pretty sure Florida is the only state with no tint restrictions.
Google it.

Florida is 28% and front window to A1 line ( Brow ) ...

Just had mine tinted a week ago. Shop said 30% front 15% rear which is what I went with. Anything darker and it'd been a cash-only deal without a warranty.

And while it's nice to know before hand, any reputable tint shop will tell you as well. They won't simply do whatever you ask. If you ask for something that is illegal, you will typically have you sign a waiver stating they informed you of the law so that they are not liable.

I live in Cali with the most strictest laws ever 5% all around and 50% on the windshield f* it lol local cops around here don't mind, I have a Dr's reccomendation for my daughters condition for tint on the front windows and don't notice the windshield but hey I have a daughter with albinism so what can I really do
