GENERAL GMax AS-03's

superb replacement for our fast wearing Pirelli's...great price too

Pro's: Quieter Ride...smoother on the bumps...no loss in grip

Con's: None

Ran me about 900 for the tires and installation and 4 wheel alignment. A good friend of mine who works in the Tire industry suggested which brands to stay away from, Toyo and Yokohama.

I almost pulled the trigger on a set of Nitto INVO....but...couldnt pass up this price...maybe next time!

Need 295 at an option, but prefer 315.

They also perform amazingly well on wet roads.

Time for them to start producing for the 21s. However, I'm beginning to wonder if Pirelli has either a patent on 21-inch wheels or an exclusive contract for OEM tires. :bangdesk:

Just had these installed saturday and i love them. Smoother ride in my opinion. Dont feel any loss in performance from the Pzeros. Excited that they are gonna last longer. I am very pleased. Approx $ 920 including install.

Heard Pirelli gets better grip, and the Generals should get much better grip as they are an all season tire. I'll stick with Pirelli or Michelin, I want a sticky high performance summer tire

Did anyone experience vibration in the car itself and or steering wheel shaking with these tires?I just had these tires installed on my front end only (saving for rears) and now my steering wheel shakes horribly from about 40-75 mph... I'm taking it back to the shop tomorrow to have them rebalanced, and hopefully that will solve the problem. I've read on other forums though that people have been getting shaking and vibrations from these tires like I am experiencing now...:(

I have the General AS-03's.....275/40/20's all the way around.....have put about 8500 miles, the last 2500 miles was going to CFest III and back, on them and have NO issues at all, no vibration, no shaking, just smoothe running and most of the time I spend at the 65 to 75 mph speed as I do mostly highway driving.

Most certainly a balancing issue. Just take them back and they should be able to fix it for you.
