Sorry OP but that has to be just about the stupidest comment on this forum in a while.

one or two friends, maybe, with me in the car, and only in a giant empty parking lot haha

Oh and my wife drove it twice when I had been drinking.

Long time lurker, first time poster here. I recently purchased my dream car about 2 weeks ago, and don't think I would let anyone drive my car. People don't respect your stuff (no matter what it is) as well as they should

The first time I let my friend drive my car he didn't angle the dip and I heard the front bumper scraping( I didn't say anything, but it definitely killed me inside...). I have also had chicks ask if they can drive and even this one check offered to show me her rack if she should could drive my car. It was tempting and I thought about it, but said no lol.

I've let my wife a few times, and my father. Mom probably could if she wanted, by her knees aren't to great. Beyond that, only one of my friends can drive a stick, and he has no interest. It's my DD, so I'm not super worried about it, but I won't let anyone ride alone in it or thrash hard on it. (except me of course!)

I have no problem letting friends drive my car. I'll ride with them for sure, but everyone should experience the joy of driving a ZL1!

Only with me in the passenger seat. I would need to ensure they can handle the car and I'd be crazy to let just anyone drive it. Especially if they're inexperienced in driving stick... and not just that, a stick with a lot of power.

I let one of my ex-girlfriends drive my 99 Z28 (also stick) back early last decade on some back roads. Wasn't fun...

What was fun was the reward for letting her drive it...

My answer is if you can afford to fully replace it then yes. I have about 90k into and I won't accept a repaired car
