if you tune on a chassis dyno and then drive the car with a scoop, does it throw off the air fuel ratio?

Save the money for headers, cam, tires or even a CAI.

You shouldn't have any issues with your tune.

This may be a dumb question, but is this scoop/relocation kit specific to a certain brand? I'm curious to know if it will work with the Halltech Yellowjacket 102mm intake.

Does this work with the GM CAI? Do you need the washer bottle relocation kit also?

Had the scoop and washer relo kit installed three weeks ago. Went to a club meeting last night and with Traction Control on. I broke the tires loose fishtailing while pulling out of the parking lot. Car never did that before scoop was installed unless TC was off. I am running a CAI brand CAI.

HIGHLY doubt the air scoop was the reason lol.

Actually ever since I installed my scoop my car started to lift my front left tire off the floor a few inches from a dig. I can even now keep up with a Z06 vette, the other day in fact I out lapped a Z/28 in Homestead Speedway with just a scoop.

It works with any system that has an open bottom. The factory washer tank has to be removed so if you wish to retain the function of your windshield sprayers the washer tank is required.

I'm happy with my Apex scoop. It's an inexpensive mod, and reasonably easy to install. I used a Rotofab fluid bottle because I wanted the bottle in the engine where I could check the fluid easily. I doubt it's really adding a bunch of torque at the rear wheels, but I do like the idea that it's maxing out my intake mods, and for a mere $75, I won't complain.
