Options that will kill an order

I recently tried to place an order with the 3DL carbon fiber dash trim included and the dealer said that orders with that option would not be accepted until the option is available for production. Does anyone know if there are any other options that would "disqualify" an order or is the 3DL carbon fiber the only one right now?

That option will keep the order from being created.... no others from what I believe.... but it gets more indepth from there.....

Only 3DL and latest release is April. Not sure if it's an LPO but I have to believe your local dealer can install it after the fact down the road ...

I had to back that option out of my order when I ordered my M6 in for it to be accepted.

I read in a thread that the carbon dash is installed at the factory. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Would the Interior trim, carbon fiber instrument panel molding be something the dealer can install later, or is it put of the whole dash?

Since the Part # has not been released....
- the schematic hasn't been published yet either.

I believe Garnet Red as a color option will also currently kill your order.

I saw April mentioned for 3DL availability. Would I be putting myself in danger of no allocations if I waited?

I wouldn't think so. There should be more allocations handed out as the year goes on I would think, especially once they have that option ready to go into production. Becky or one of the other members that work in this business every day would be able to tell you more assuredly.
