check engine light not coming on?

went to get car inspected today and failed code p0650. i noticed when i start it the check engine light is not coming on at all. has anybody else have the light blow

If you feel like the check engine light should be coming on in this case, the best thing to do is to get it diagnosed at the dealership. Please let me know if you decide to take this route.

All indicator lights should come on at startup then go out. It is a check to see if all systems are working properly.

they have no idea how to fix my car.put new gauge cluster .now new ignition switch they said they called tech and they dont no either .gonna be a week tom this sucks on vacation and wanted to drive it

got car back from dealer says it was ignition switch ...2 days ater and light doesnt come on again i give up. po650 code again guess i gota bring it back again anybody else having these issues thanks

IM HAVING SAME ISSUE I JUST NOTICED THAT THE LIGHT DOESNT COME ON WHEN IGNITION SWITCH IS ON RUN POSITION.

dropping it off weds i also had problem with clutch sounds like a bad throwout bearing they said they fixed .it still noisy as hell .checked reciept it said they could not duplicate noise and is normal they told me they fixed it but reciepts say diffrent unreal
