Don't worry guys. I have gotten over my thoughts of selling my SRT8. Temporary insanity.
To who ever thought it was slow when they test drove it....................thats just silly....LOL |

Hey Dan 2013
I like both cars, and I am going to be putting an order in for a ZL1 right shortly myself. It looks like you have you work cut out for you when it comes to deciding whether or not to trade in the Challenger for the Camaro. Anyway whatever way you decide to go, I can’t see it being a bad decision, because you will still have a muscle car either way. Myself, I will never sell my Challenger, I bought the car new in 2009 and have loved it ever since (it’s an auto, but I am lazy and I don’t like shifting gears), current mileage is less than 9000km (Canadian). Car is completely bone stock (for personal reasons). With this year of Challenger there is no MDS, traction control can be totally taken off, and there is no limiter on the car, if there is one I haven’t found it yet. Anyway I am not trying to sway your decision, like I said above I will be putting in an order for a ZL1 right shortly (I don’t care how long it takes to get the car; I just hope I can get one). But after seeing what the 6.1 can do and its retro look I can’t sell it. I love my Challenger but I can’t wait to see what the ZL1 can do. Just my 2 cents. |

I will chime in if i may...I traded my 2012 300 SRT8 in on my ZL1.....ley me put it as simply as i can...the interior in the dodge/chrysler are SUPERIOR in every way to the camaro. If u r going to by a Chally buy the manual....More power in the srt8 as it has 470 hp vs the 420ish the SS has...the chally is bigger and feels that way when you drive it.....tuning issues IE a lack of tuning options were a negative drawback when the 12's came out..(diablosport for example)...chevy had tuning options and parts to go in immediately. I bought the 300 as it was my 3rd SRT car in a row...i had 2 300SRT's and a 2007 Jeep SRT8...so if u r looking at stock powerr 470 is hard to ignore....to be honest if I had to do it all again I should of kept my 300. I love my ZL1 but room is tight, interior fit and finish and quality of materials is OK at best....but the possiblities are endless as far as improving the power with the Chevy.....and for not much money u can easily wring 600 hp out of the SS versus the limited tuning options that recently dropped for the Hemi platform. so..if i was making the choice......SRT. i love our camaros...but the SRT is a better car in my opinion.

What color is your 392?
I go along with the train of thought to hold off and eventually get both in your stable! |

A lot of us here are car nuts and like more then just one type of car. Personally if i could afford it i would have a ZL1,GT500,392 in that order. That to me is my dream garage.
