Camaro V8 Twin Turbo vs Camaro V6 Supercharged
At the track Friday night I ran into this beast while in my little V6 Camaro. Said he had a 416 with a Hellion Twin Turbo kit. I managed to tree him and match his 60', but after that his car showed why engine size matters. It was a fun race though, I thought I had him for a few seconds.
This run was the fastest a 5th gen Camaro V6 has ever run on stock internals and he passed me like I was a 20 second car. DA was around 1800 or so. |

Thanks, track prep was really good and I learned how to properly do a warmup for my drag radials.

Very nice run there! Looks like he was sleeping at the light.
Out of my own curiosity was he an M6 car? I ask because I have the same setup his car. Hellion, 417 stroker, M6.

Thanks, would have done better if my car didn't weigh 4090 lbs. I kept my huge subwoofer and amplifier box in the car, along with some extra equipment.
Don't know what transmission he had, but I think he had some power left since he was surprised at how well the track hooked that time. Last month they had completely stripped all the rubber off the track for a true No-Prep race, it finally got rubber back down after some pro races. |

Would you be able to post the YouTube address? For some reason 90% of videos I try to open, open a blank page.
