Here they are. With the extreme closeup of the front, you can see where I screwed up a little. I'm planning on fixing it, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to fix it since the vinyl I bought it a little less malleable. You really can't tell there's a problem in person unless you're looking for a problem.

The dark spots you see are reflections. I really like that I was able to keep the texture with this method.

Thanks for the pics, Venom! Looks like I made the right decision.

I was worried that it wasn't as blue as it looks due to the gold distorting the tint a bit, but it looks like the gold is completely flushed out. Awesome!

Yeah. I was surprised. I kinda thought it would turn greenish/teal because of the blue, but it's really pretty much a nice stark blue that's maybe slightly lighter than the blue of the '69 bowties.

This is the 'best' blue bowtie i've seen... i've done mine with paint and the blue vinyl from Wal-Mart, but i like this transparency better.....seeing the pattern in the bowtie really makes it unique...

That's what these forums are for...sharing ideas and info.....not the 'mine is better, i don't like yours, i hate mustangs ' type of stuff........

Now that looks sick.. i think im going to have to tint my bowties like that expect a smoke black color
