Blue bowties - need help real quick. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My Camaro is going to be here in around 3 days (FINALLY!), and one of the first mods is going to be changing out the bowtie colors.

I want them to be like the retro blue bowties but I don't know where to find vinyl or even replacement bowties of that color. All the vinyl I see from sellers is of solid blues without any metallic or reflective luster (unless I am misunderstanding). If anybody can show me pictures of their own blue ones and tell me how you got them, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Those wouldn't fit unless I modded the grille. Those are the actual bowties that came on the classics. I just want to switch out the gold center for blue.

Have you tried them? They're one of the first websites I looked at and remain on the top of my vendors-to-try.

i would recommend following this diy and buying a roll of vinyl especially if its your first time using vinyl. i messed up 3 times my first time doing it but i had extra vinyl to try again and it came out very nice.. i put my friends on for him and it was one of the precut ones. it came out good but he paid way more just for that small piece of vinyl when he could have gotten a whole roll for cheap.

I turned my bowties blue for $5, including shipping. Let me know if you want closer pictures. The transparency of the vinyl lets you keep the texture of the stock bowtie.

Yes, please do. I ended up going with something very similar, and I want to be absolutely sure that the gold is completely overtaken with blue.
