I bought mine while GM was dragging there feet releasing the Gen 5. 2008 Challenger SRT8 presently parked in the garage. Always wanted the Camaro first. I just couldn't wait when the Challenger came out. Was content until I saw the ZL575 at the Philly auto show.

Nothing. I didnt' need, or want another car.

When this came along, it was a no brainer. I hated the 4th Gens. Just think they are ugly, but the 5th Gen grabbed me hard.

Oh, and as bad ass as the new Shelby looks, I still think it looks like a donkey.

Was looking at the Acura TL. My lease on my Accord was about up but then got the pre-order e-mail from GM and went to the dealer on the October 13th 2008 and ordered.

I probably would have stayed Pontiac loyal and ended up with an '01 or '02 black WS.6 I really wanted one till I saw the '06 Camaro concept.

If I would have gotten a newer car it possibly would have been a Chally R/T since I probably wouldn't have forked over the dough for the SRT. I would have been really upset when the 5.0 came out though.

Either way it's a good thing GM came through
