Not entirely. My mom hasn't posted yet. She was a bit slow on the draw.

Well put Fbod...I never quite understood all the bashing you've recieved, not necessarily here, but on the other boards during the hiatus. I think its simply awesome the amount of time you put in listening to average Joe's over the years, and have put our thoughts/suggestions into the engineering process.
With that said...should I put in an order for a 2SS now, or should I wait for the possibility of the Z28? I need a supercharger, and I would prefer the factory installed unit |

Sir,
Thank you for your time and dedication to this car and it's fans. My Camaro memories only go back about 25 years but this will be my fourth and I have no doubt in my mind the best one ever. You have our utmost gratitude and respect.

That about sums it up...We live in a sociality that expects to have gratification today; we have lost the value of patience. I want to thank you for taking the time to explain your reasoning and allowing us to watch the progress of this car. I think most people understand that you/GM didn’t have to provide everyone all this inside information. I think just get wrapped up in their emotions and therefore frustration sits in.

I am one of the lucky people to have my 1 SS now. Belive me the Camaro is all of what Scott has been telling us it is. It is really worth the wait. Quality, Style, and Power are a wow! This car will be a big seller.

I know that it may seem that way -- but in reality, most of our dealers are hard-working people who are trying to do the right thing -- and most of them are very benevolent to their communities. (...and industry sales satisfaction and service satisfaction surveys will bear this out -- we're above industry average and many of the foreign manufacturers are the worst!) The problem is that a few ruin and tarnish everyone else. We constantly talk to our dealers -- You may also have heard that we're going to reduce the number of dealers across the country -- not sure how that's going to play out -- but you can be assured that 'sales and service satisfaction' will play a big part in who stays and who goes............. |

Thanks Scott. Your passion and enthusiasm for this car is much appreciated. Maybe one day I will get to tell you that in person.

I picked up my new Camaro SS 2SS yesterday and it definitely exceeded my expectations!!! It is true to the concept car. And I can weather the early recall issue because I think it is expected. Chevy did a great job with this car! I had it on the dyno today and it made 367hp and 373tq at the wheels. Better than my 2001 Vette did by far. Get ready for the aftermarket parts!
