Hmm I did not know they had a business GM card i just got the normal one. But I'm kinda shocked that they would allow you that much credit. I place most of my charges on my two airline cards for free air travel.

GM Family Card for GM families have no limits on earnings or redemption either (except for the 7 year rule), which you can take in addition to any Employee Vehicle Allowance allowed. If you have a qualifying family member of course. Not everyone will be able to get it, but if you can, do it.
Key is to ALWAYS pay off the card every month. Otherwise, you're spending your "savings" on interest, which is counter-productive. I've had the card for going on 4 years now and never paid a dime in interest.

$3400 over MSRP. Not worth it to me researching dealers out of state in the southwest. Then there is taxes, fees, ect. I know what I'm paying in state. It all evens out if I go out of state with transport, taxes, ect.

MSRP was 57,420 I then used my $3400 in points to reduce it to $54,020. Courtesy Delivery, so it was shipped to my state. Not to bad I think. Quite a few dealers are asking for a Market Adjustment around here.

How much do you have to spend on the GM card to save the $1000 off the ZL1?

Probably varies by card and when people signed up. Mine is 5% so would take $20,000 of purchases to get $1000 in GM earnings.

Most of the dealers in the area I talked to said as long as the allocations are decent, like 4-6 instead of the 1 or 2 like for 2012 that they will honor MSRP. I'm pretty hopeful that they will produce at least 3K-4K+ for the 2013 MY. So I think MSRP will be easy to get this time around. The dealer where I used to live said he'll do MSRP, but I know they won't get their allocation til later in the year compared to the larger dealers in Denver.

$3000 below MSRP. Almost at "pure" cost.
GMPP Extended Warranty 84 month/ 84,000 miles = $1399. Those should be your targets IMHO. If you want to get a similar deal on a 2013, talk to Chris Goodman at City Chevrolet in Charlotte NC. He is the "internet manager"... He said it was OK to tell you guys he would extend HOT deals like mine to you. He said 2013 would be dealt similarly assuming he gets allocations. They do not take waiting lists, contrary to what some have said. First firm deals you can count on. So when workbench opens up, I'd say you best be ON THE SPOT and don't ever take your eye off the ball. Good luck with your order. |

Bobby Murray Chevrolet in Raleigh NC is where I got my ZL1 for MSRP. They sell all of their vehicles for MSRP. Anyone interested call Dennis Eicher at 919-524-3838 tell him Levi referred you.
