A lot of parts on there don't look ZL1.

That could be many things, the hose is bigger than the PVC hose. You do not need a oil separator, but it does help keep the deposits from getting to the SC blades and as the car gets older it will help from the oil lowering the Octane. I put one on my car.

Planes are not like cars, so it may not be a piece of cake when it comes to tuning.
