Speaking of dead horses, since someone, ahem, closed the thread, I've been jonesin' to make a stripe post. It had become sort of a ritual for some of us, but I'll stop there...for fear of retribution.

EDIT: Just in case....I was joking....I'm quite done with that topic!!!

LSA time baby. Putting that motor in the Camaro never made so much sense. Now that the GT500 is making 540 horses, a 556 horsepower motor in the camaro would be absolutely perfect.

Not quite, if all GM did was throw in the LSA, the camaro's weight wll go north of 4000lbs!! It will also need carbon fiber and Alluminum parts evrywhere to keep the weight down.

Also lets not forget that yes, the GT500 is rated at 540 hp but it send it's power to ford's weak 8.8" rear end, Ford's 9" rear end would have been better. What good is more power if you can't get it to the ground??

If they don't make a Z/28 I will make my future Camaro a clone then. Look how many 69 Camaros have become one. I will just wait for a well known aftermarket company to come out with some great materials and build it.

Let's get job one out the door first.

If the market demands it later, GM will throw the LSA back in there.

One option is to throw a puffer on your LS3, and if it blows up, claim it on full coverage auto insurance. Learned that on Corvette Forum.
