CAI Install Question
I have everything installed with the exception of the hose that connects the intake tube and the vent tube with shrink wrap. The supplied hose is extremely hard to get completely over the vent tube. I can get the supplied hose over the vent tube just before the rubber washer, and I cannot get it any further. I have tried to boil water and soak the supplied hose to make a little more pliable however I was only able to get it a little further on the vent tube. Are there any suggestions on how to get the supplied hose completely on the vent tube, or will it be ok as far as I have it now, with the shrink wrap? Does anyone have any advise as to where I currently have the hose connected being ok, or it must be completely over the vent tube and how to get it over the rubber gasket before I use the shrink wrap?

I just held the hose and opposite side of the intake and wiggled it up and down while pushing. It was hard to get on but finally went.

Sorry that's what I was referring to. Just keep pushing it in while working it up and down. Took some elbow grease but it went on without too much trouble. The intake is solid so dont worry alot about pushing to hard, just support the opposite side and push with your hand.
