Texas Speed 2" Longtubes rubbing against steering rack?

Is anyone else having this problem? One of the tubes is rubbing against the steering rack rubber cover and tearing a hole in it. Anyone know of a way to fix it, or is it okay to have a tad bit of rubbing?

I currently have the same issue after I installed my Kooks LTH. I am contemplating removing that rubber boot.

What tools did others use to remove the boot? Razor blade?
