Who actually owns website

I have been watching this site for some time and I am wondering if this whole site isn't a research tool for GM regarding what people want out of the new car and whats important. I also noticed there are no advertisers on this site not even for parts. I have a hard time believing a couple of people put this very well layed out website for fun. Someone is paying for hosting, web design and server space. If GM hired a marketing company and added the legal seperation at the bottom of the home page thats fine. But a few items end up missing every know and then which leads me to believe someone is editting this site. Just curious, I enjoy the site it is helpful.

The domain is using private registration so I dunno who it is but web design is pretty basic and the forum is just a vbulletin forum software install. And there are ads on the main page.

I guess its not impossible, since the domain is registered by DomainsByProxy.com through godaddy. However, I highly highly doubt it.

This website is privately owned and operated at the owners expense. He has asked to remain anonymous other than his screen name "Tran". However it is safe to say this site is not owned or operated by GM in anyway. However, we do remove items that GM asks us to as well as rely greatly on the Many GM Insiders that frequent this site. In particular, Scott Settlemire, AKA Fbodfather.

So rest assured, this is an enthusiast site paid for by an enthusiast, Administered, Moderated and made great by our members who all are enthusiasts.

No conspiracy theory to be had here. Sorry.

Me

And as much as the conspiracists out there would like to think, I don't work for GM in any shape or form. Just a guy who fell in love with the concept when I first saw it at the NY autoshow a few years ago and decided to start up a blog/forum for it.

This site helped me find my dealer. This site provided the information to properly assess a car I could not touch or see. I expect this site will help with any after delivery concerns and aftermarket purchases.

THIS site is much better than the other one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
