Dealer does not have alignment specs???

Does anyone have access to the factory service manual for the 1LE? I need to get an alignment done, and surprisingly, my local Chevrolet dealer is returning me the car, saying that they do not have alignment specs for the 1LE. Thanks in advance!

You need to find another dealer ,because the one you went to is lame and can not be trusted to do any service to your car .

you're in CT. there has to be another dealer close enough to go to. Also may want to look for one that sells (stocks) a lot vette's they will tend to be more performance oriented and have specialist that can work on performance cars.

If you go to the Suspension section, there ate threads where alignment spccs for performance street are posted. I think at least by Justice Pete and PfadtRacing. You ought to be able to use those as a guideline and tell the shop exactly what you want set.

Whether you want (or need) to use a different shop depends on whether you think you were getting blown off or if they really didn't want to touch something that their alignment rack may not have had the 1LE data for.

Personally, I'd think about trying to find a race shop with Camaro/G8/GTO experience.

+4, This is directly from SI, the web based service manual for all GM vehicles. Every GM dealer has access to this.

Actually, It's a good thing they returned it to you, I have a Genesis Track and it has a completely different alignment spec that the reg Gen's. The dealer however didn't find the Track specs and just aligned it to the Base Car. Long story short it almost caused me to crash while cornering because it didn't have camber.

There are also "track specs" in the owners manual, but I would go with more front negative camber then what the owners manual recommends.
