Should i buy a strut bar brace?

There's a strut bar up on Craigslist for 100 bucks, brand new. What do you guys think? Should I go get it?

Factory bar.

25hp if you add a "Camaro" sticker to it. Honestly, it's worth the $100 if you ever take turns over the recommended speed limit.

There was a thread not long ago on here that showed that the piece did not do anything. There are certain members of this forum that track on a regular basis that have removed theres because of this evidence. I offer no opinion either way, and am not good with the search feature, but I just thought I would bring it up.

I have a 2011 2SS RS and it has one already. Did they stop putting it in from factory. I'm the second owner but I don't think this was added by the previous lady owner.

I mean it's 100$ which isn't a lot, I can get it from eBay for 120 so it's not a huge deal. If it adds 25hp i'll do it! But i'm not sure if it makes a difference, I'll probably throw some exhaust on first.

If you're going to do catback exhaust, save your money, too. You won't get any HP lol.

I think its purely cosmetic, but that's just my personal opinion. I've pondered it regardless though.

Small, but effective mod list:

Roto-Fab Intake, TSP 2" Long tubes, TSP catless mids, MSD spark plug wires, stock catback, Elite Catch Can, APEX washer relocation and scoop, VMAX throttle body, Diablo InTune-Tuned by Matt@FSP, and a JacFab license plate bracket.

On my 98 camaro, I could tell a difference. Not in horsepower obviously but with handling for sure.

I'd buy it.
