Hopefully the service department will treat you better and fix the problem the first time.

Well, went out to the car, and the Service Stabilitrack wasn't on. Suggestions? Is it worth taking back to the dealership for an issue that doesn't exist anymore?

I doubt it, but you could call the service advisor and ask them to be sure before taking it in.

These cars are highly computerized now and subject to same types of glitches as your home computer. There will be slight glitches here and there. There are many factors that affect wheel speed sensors, weather, temps, vibrations. If it only came on once, I would forget about it. The problem will be hard to find if it was only active once. Once the light goes out the system isn't detecting a fault. I wouldn't expect a tech to find a problem on a non-faulting system. It is always best to go to the dealer when the fault is active, or comes on all the time and they can reproduce it.

There was a previous post about this. It stated that you may get this warning if you let go of the key before the engine completely starts. I get this if I just turn the ignition and let it go to start. It goes out within a sec.

Except I had been driving for over 30 minutes when it happened. I was driving through our parking lot and the alarm went off.

This happened to me once. I drove home from work and pulled into the garage as the warning came on. The next day all was fine. Never had any problems weeks after that so maybe this is no real biggie.

You can't fix anything that isn't broke.

Were you out driving on the snowy/slushy streets before this happened?

i know it will throw that code if you dont plug the mass air meter back in.

i forgot to plug mine back in after i put on the intake and it turned off all traction control and told me to get stabilitrack serviced, plugged it back in and all is well.
