I'm pretty sure a paint shop could get it at least round enough that you couldn't tell if it wasnt. I would be concerned with how long that lasted, you would probably have to take it to get clear coated after that anyway. Unless you want to keep removing your tire to put that back on.

That is a nifty tool. I would get it, just because it is not only meant for rims.
