Here is what I got, It took 20 square feet to do the back deck, rear sides and rear seat. And then another 20 square feet to do the doors. So you need 4 of these.

If you do the trunk lid, you might need 4. They are cheap, better to have extra than be short. And you save on shipping if you order the 4th vs 3 and having to order it again.

A lot of people will tell you to stay away from FatMat, because it's not made from butyl. There are a lot of brands, besides Dynamat, that make butyl based sound deadeners. You should try to find a deadener that contains butyl.

just remember, you get what you pay for...if you are gonna spend a day tearing down the interior and headliner...don,t cut corners...you will be sorry...i would also try to stay away from asphalt base...especially on vertical surfaces...floors only..

bought some stuff that is for roofing repairs to line my trunk and it works pretty well, had people telling me that it would smell, would leave tar all over the place, blau blah blah....not one problem, worked great. No smell even in 104 degree heat! think it is called "peel and seal" can buy it at lowes in the roofing section. not sure I would use it up high in the inside of the roof but lining the mid to bottow trunk you would be ok IMO

Keep in mind it is not neccessary to cover every square inch 100%. Rigid formed areas aren't going to vibrate as much as larger areas that are flat and flexible. Tap your knuckles on the metal, if it sounds tinny, cover it. If it sounds solid, not so important. You can always add more but removing this stuff isn't easy. It sticks good.

I just found this while hunting for something else. It's butyl, 70 mil, and cheaper than Dynamat.

Don't know anything about the vendor.
