yes, you can when revving it.

I think that the tubing for the actuators are too small, stock ones are hard plastic and very big.

I will post a pic after dinner of the stock vs. what I had to plumb, the stock will not work.....unless you cut or have access to make this??? We shall see.

Hold up!

So, in a nutshell, is the LOUD side louder than stock (if so, very noticeably)? I just ordered this and I wanted quite a bit louder...but still have control with m2w.

Louder than stock on start up, but not overly loud. At highway speeds it is not loud at all, very quiet compared to stock. Again I don't know if the tubing that I re-plumbs that it is not working correctly, I did go out tonight and check the vacuam to make sure that it closed and opened the actuators, Mannualy that is. Still need to get the exhaust from rubbing in spots before I takle that beast.

Are you thinking that the actuators may not be working properly so you might not have them open at WOT? I sure hope that is the case because my kit is being built this week and scheduled to ship on 12/7 and I really wanted quite a bit louder than stock...withe the baffles open of course. I know the tone is probably more aggressive but the volume interests me more...

Did you do something to make the tips stick out that far, or is that just how it is? Any drone with the Billy Boat and headers?

Nice car, I see the tips stick out way to far on the passenger side on yours too. I had to cut mine back a little, also mine are on the ZL1, which things are different than on an SS.

Crisis averted, no more rubbing, only cost $40 and about 40 minutes for them to fix. Shop aligned the pipes, no more rubbing on drive shaft, belly tin or rear pumpkin. No rattles or anything!! I had tucked the pipes up too much into the tunnel, causing the pipes to be pulled up too high, thus causing the rubbing issues. Yes, cutting back the pipe was right, because the pipe/muffler was not aligning with the hanger. Yes the Flapper is also working correctly, however I want to plumb the hard lines back in.
The big question of how does it sound?
Stock operations, no M2W switches….On start up, acceleration, deceleration and WOT it is deeper than stock. At cruising speed it is quieter than stock.
With the M2W operating, it is deeper than stock at all areas.
I will say that to me it is not louder than stock, just deeper. But I do have severe hearing loss?
Also it is much heavier than stock.
