I had to drill a hole in my door jam to remove a quarter sized dent out of my quarter. Drilling is the last resort. You can try glue pull....but if it's a very sharp dent....chances are, the core will not come out.

As far as metallic paints. If it's a pretty sharp dent...it's very normal to see a difference where the repair was done. Once metallic paint get's pushed in (dent)....and when it's pushed back out, the metallic get's distorted and can usually be seen. If it's a soft dent....then it shouldn't be as traceable.

If you were local, I'd charge $75 to fix'em

wish you were local, can't find or get a hold of any in the area, closest one is about 90 minutes away. I live in a rural area. might go with dent wizard, have a number for a guy that supposed to work for them so going to give him a call next week to set something up the following week on my vacation. not paying over 100 that is all I know.

was able to get in touch with the fella I mentioned earlier in the thread, met him at a dealership near here, and he took about 5 or so dents in the same spot out and charged me 75, he is supposed to give me a deal on the flat areas above the front wheels that get dented up from leaning on the car when working in or around the engine area. just got to relearn not to put pressure on those areas when I am working on the car. going to try to do it in late June. quoted me 100 for both sides so that sounded like a good deal.

ask around and see what they would charge... you may get lucky and get a fairly decent deal to fix it.
Do you think that I could PDR my door where it comes to a point? My friend opened the passenger door a couple months ago and hit a U-Haul truck... It dented the part where the door comes to a point in a bit. :(

If the dent's aren't to deep, they can be removed even if they are located on the body lines of the car. I have removed many dents on the 2010-2014 Camaro body lines. If they are considerably deep, a pdr tech might need to use heat so the paint doesn't crack while pushing.

I just got my new 14 1LE and have a crease in the door and never saw it but when I was having clear film installed and the car was on a lift I was able to see it. Its a crease in the lower front part of the door, I called the most reputable PDR person in out area and he could not reach it from the inside of the door so he tried a glue pull. He was able to get like 60% of it out but said to get it all out my door had to come off and he was going to have to drill a hole as a access point to use his tools and then seal the hole up. I'm all set with drilling a new car but its complete BS that a new car comes from the factory with a dent or crease in any body part. There is a left over ZL1 at my local dealer with a dent in the door of that also... New isn't New anymore..

only thing you can do for that is a dead blower hammer and a sanding block.

If it came from the factory that way, let your warranty take care of it.
But more than likely it didn't leave the factory that way, it could have gotten damaged in transit or at the dealer.

PDR is awesome. I've used Dent Express in St. Charles, MO with great success. Car still looks new.

TO be honest ill live with before the dealer touches it. If it was at the dealer when this occurred it was done my paint less dent making. lol there isn't a single mark or knick or anything that is around the area that would indicate that it happened there that's why I believe it came that way. The panel looks like it was creased then painted over and that's what it looks like to me.

I have seen dents happen where is no evidence that it was damaged by something.... I had one car hit by a basketball when it left no scuff marks or anything but a big old dent... Just saying it could happen..
