Trunk mat

Anyone have a trunk mat for their vert. What kind do you have? I would like a weather tech but they don't yet offer one for the vert

Chevy makes one for the Coupe but don't know whether it's too large for the 'vert trunk or if they both have the same size trunks (I'm guessing they do but don't know for certain). Plus, there's the cost of the OEM stuff - at least on the gmaccessorieszone.com website. I suppose other GM parts sources are somewhat less expensive and then there's always Ebay and the forum's "Classified" section.

Mine came with the factory Camaro trunk mat. It is very thick, heavy and heavy duty. I wish it had a lip all around like the WeatherTech just in case you spilled something in the back. If mine did not come with it I would buy the WeatherTech, and it is less money.

That is what mine came with. I wouldn't call the back trunk carpet, carpet. I took the thin faux carpet lining out and replaced it with this. The factory one is thick rubber and may reduce some road noise. I think it is worth having a good cargo mat back there.

You might explore making your own. I wanted a shock-absorbing mat so I bought a memory foam pad (the kind you can drop an egg on without breaking) and just cut my own.
