Last time I checked the C6 Z06 has lift and the Z/28 is going to have more downforce than the ZL1, so I'm not sure I can agree with the aero being perfect on the Z06. Less drag, perhaps, but less downforce as well. So perhaps an advantage to Z/28 in the high speed corners.

I bet if you did all that, the two would end up in a practical dead heat because damn near everything would be the exact same. And nobody wants to see that. The Z/28 is different from the ZL1 ... thats the whole point of offering both of them. If you want a kickass track car, then the Z/28 is for you. If you are more of a Grand Touring kind of person, then look no further than the ZL1.

Although it may break the momentum of the current discussion, I have this to say
I'm very happy GM is producing this 2014 version of the Z/28. Because, It means I will never have to explain why I bought a ZL1 and haven't taken it to the track. I can simply say, If I wanted to buy a car for the track, I would have bought a Z/28. GM gets my

Just for giggles I looked up Laguna seca lap times for the ZR1 and the C6R...
2013 ZR1 = 1.33 C6R qualifying lap = 1.22 WOW http://www.motortrend.com/features/laguna_lap/ http://www.alms.com/results/qualifying |
