need help, frustrated.

okay, so i have been trying to cram all this different information into my head about what i need vs. what i think i need to put a magnuson blower on my car. So i am turning to you guys here for help. what all do i need to have a maggie on my car running reliably and smoothly? I plan on staying at the 6psi stock boost level and this car is not a dedicated drag car. It is a street driven car.

current mods are as follows:
CAI
headers
ported TB(92mm)
Lingenfelter GT9 cam+ls3 conversion
1le sways
pfadt tie rods/trailing arms
zl1 wheels with michelin PSS(for everyone that will say "get better tires")

Now, I'm buying a magnuson and I want to know what else i should get so i dont end up on the side of the road pissed off at my broken down car. thank you for your help

You don't NEED any of the that, except maybe the CAI. Everything else falls under the "nice to have" category. All the PD blowers are made to be able to install and go. Changing over to the LS3 lifters is always a good idea since the AFM lifters are known to fail on stock cars. They aren't a "must have" though. Then it gets into, since you're already changing lifters, it isn't that much more to install a cam. Who makes a 92mm TB? BBK makes a 95 but I haven't heard of a 92

Sorry, missed the line saying those were your current mods. Thought that's what you thought you needed.

Looks like you're good to go then. The LS3 conversion uses the LS3 lifters. What else could you possibly want? As long as you get a complete maggie set up and not a tuner version, you should be good to go. Who's going to tune it? That's probably one of the most important aspects.

You need a good tune and I would stay away from a converter in case you wanted one

ZL1/ADM combo and maybe a BAP, or a twin pump setup.

JRE 2800 stall converter. Nice and tight for normal driving.

Rear cradle bushings

Scrap the cats if you can

Wideband setup

Boost gauge setup

Drag radials and a rear drag alignment

These things will finish off your current mods very nicely! Big emphasis on fuel!

If he stays at 6psi the stock pump will handle that just fine.

With what you have already and considering your "need vs want" criteria for 6psi, this is my opinion...

NEED
- Maggie TVS2300 full kit (not tuner kit)
- A good dyno or email tune (motor and transmission)

WANT
- Wideband gauge
- Boost gauge

Three comments
- You won't need to address fuel at 6 psi boost (Your tune will confirm that or tell you otherwise)
- Should you experience wheel hop, your trailing arms will help but you might consider differential and cradle bushings. I would address that issue if it arises later.
- Your existing mods make an excellent platform for the addition of the Maggie. Good luck with your build, your going to love the additional power.

IMO you'd be silly to add FI to an already 440-470 NA whp set up without addressing the stock fuel system.
The cost of a ZL1/ADM FPCM is worth the safety and room for expansion, injectors are always in the classifieds section for a low price as well.

I don't necessarily disagree with you. Looking at fuel pressure and duty cycle on the injectors during tuning would give the definitive answer.

So IF this a complete kit(not the tuner version) all I should need is a zl1 pump and injectors?
