what is the close guess to how many miles you can get on a tank after you fill it up whats says on the DIC on how many remaining miles? on the V6 please

On the highway, my DIC predicted about 500 miles per tank. I filled up after ~450 miles when I was down to 1/8th of a tank. The DIC prediction seem pretty accurate as long as you're sticking with one kind of driving.

I'm averaging around 21-22mpg. When I fill up the DIC says I have about 400 miles left, so I'm thinking it's pretty accurate.

I've had mine read as high as 458 and as low as 392. Filled up Saturday night and it said 405 miles to empty, which equates to about 21.3 mpg average.

Mine's only like 16.9 MPG. :( I only have a little over 500 miles on my car though.

That's exactly what mine is too. I only have 320 miles on it though, and I don't exactly drive conservatively (I stick pretty close to the speed limit, I just get to it a little quicker than most people)!

As I indicated in another thread on gas mileage & maximum miles on a tank - I got 407 miles on 18.150 gallons for 22.42 mpg, cutting it a little too close to the 18.8 capacity. That fill-up was almost to the brim before I yelled at the attendant not to let it spill over just to make a higher, even sale.

The above was my normal 64 mile roundtrip commute over 6+ days with a few stops somewhat off my route.
